The SymCom MotorSaver MS460L (manufactured by Littelfuse) is a heavy-duty, microcontroller-based 3-phase voltage monitoring and protection relay designed to extend the lifespan of electric motors, compressors, and industrial pumps. By continuously analyzing incoming line conditions, the MS460L instantly detects power faults and opens its SPDT output relay to isolate downstream equipment before terminal damage occurs.
Unlike standard adjustable models, the 460-L variant features a fixed 6% voltage unbalance trip point and a fixed 4-second trip delay. This tamper-resistant design prevents unauthorized personnel or operator error from altering critical safety thresholds. Equipped with dual-color LED diagnostics, an adjustable 1–500 second automatic restart delay, and a universal auto-sensing range of 190–480 VAC, it is the ultimate plug-and-play solution for HVAC, water management, and manufacturing applications.
